There is a song by Wayne Watson called, "Growing". It is a song about growing in our walk as a Christian. I love the song and play it often.

Here's the lyrics to the chorus:

 A governor in South Carolina has an affair and the standard news media outlets fill the airwaves with information on a man's personal indiscretion. Admittedly, this is a story worth publishing and I am in no way trying to make light of the circumstance. He was wrong, it's news, that's the price of being in the public arena.

 Shakespeare had said, "All the world's a stage and we are all just players on it". There is probably a great deal of truth to that, both for individuals and even as nations on a global scale. Traditionally, the United States played the role cast to the guy with the strong chin and white smile who would ride in to save the damsel tied to the train tracks in the nick of time. It a role we played well because we in America saw ourselves in that light.

 I have seen the future of government health care. It is peopled with employees who punch a clock at both ends of a shift and spend the time between waiting for a break. They move slowly through the halls with no sense of urgency looking forward to the 30 minutes they have to eat the lunch they brought from home.
