U. S. Government prevents Bible Study? Don't be Silly

Seems Pastor David Jones and his wife Mary are having an issue with the county of San Diego, CA. The couple has led a personal, private Bible Study in there home for several years where about 15 people gather during the week to read Scripture, share, have a meal and pray together. Sounds like the same type of thing I have participated in hundreds of times in my life. Not really much different from the backyard BBQ's and dinner parties held by others throughout the country.

President Bush Fulfilling Prophecy?

As a conservative and a Christian who would like nothing more than to see increased dedication in the individual lives of believers to Christ, I am frightened at where that dedication took our former president. In what can only be described as a head shaking moment, I find myself realizing that, more than ever, believers need to understand our position in Christ and what our relationship to God requires.

Preaching to the Choir

Shrugging At las(t)

We live in interesting times. Changes are occurring in our society at a pace never before seen. In just a few short months, we have seen the practical nationalization of the banking and automotive industries here in the United States. We have embarked on a spending spree of unheard of proportion in the name of "bailing out" our economy. National health care seems to be coming. The government wants the ability to take over any business that doesn't meet it's "stress test". None of this sounds like the America I grew up in and was taught about in school. How did we get here and what does it mean for our future?
